Η Lego λανσάρει νέα φιγούρα σε αναπηρικό καροτσάκι

Η Lego έχει βγάλει από καουμπόηδες μέχρι stormtroopers, αλλά της πήρε 84 χρόνια για να λανσάρει μία πραγματική, αληθινή φιγούρα.

Την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα, η Lego αποκάλυψε ότι θα κυκλοφορήσει την πρώτη φιγούρα της σε αναπηρικό καροτσάκι. Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που η εταιρεία επιχειρεί να λανσάρει ένα αντίστοιχο παιχνίδι, αφού τον Ιούλιο είχε κυκλοφορήσει μία αντίστοιχη εκδοχή φιγούρας σε αναπηρικό αμαξίδιο, με την διαφορά ήταν έδειχνε έναν ηλικιωμένο, κάτι που δεν είχε θετική ανταπόκριση από τους καταναλωτές και τα άτομα με αναπηρία.

Η νέα φιγούρα είναι νεότερη και πολύ χαρούμενη.

For a number of months a social media campaign called Toys Like Me has called upon toy makers including LEGO, to start featuring more characters and toys that reflect real life a little more. This is to help children who can sometimes feel a little different if they suffer from various life altering illnesses. Especially if they have visual differences like hearing aids, being in a wheelchair or other such special qualities. Thankfully LEGO are a company who listens to such feedback from its customers and during the London Toy Fair word spread that a new wheelchair element had been created and features in a set 60134 Fun in the Park. Now images have come out of Nuremberg Toy Fair thanks toPromobricks, which confirms that one of the 14 included minifigures is indeed a young chap in a wheelchair, who also appears to have a helper dog. I’m sure you’ll agree this is a great step in the right direction by The LEGO Group. With LEGO being the number one toy brand in the world right now, their products are greatly influential for it’s younger fan base. Providing an able bodied people with the notion that a disability isn’t something to be frowned upon while also offering a young disabled person with a positive representation for them to project themselves onto during play, is an achievement which should be saluted.The set will be available this summer.  http://bricksfans.com/2016/01/27/lego-releases-first-disabled-minifigure/ #lego #toyslikeme
